Introduction to milling operation

MILLING OPERATION in Mastercam General steps to be taken:- 1. Create a solid work model (preferably in TOP plane). 2. Delete all existing machine groups. 3. Select your machine. (ex. mill ) 4. Define stock for your operation. 5 Locate the origin of the tool (Preferably one of the corner ) 6 Then, select your TOOLPATH. (ex. contour,pocket,drill ) 7 Select the movement of the tool. (Using chain manager tab) 8 Select your tool type (ex. Flat mill,end mill ) 9 Select Tool holder 10 Give depth of cut for your operation
